Welcome to 4x4 Play FNQ's new website
Welcome all to our new site this will be replacing our old site. In the next few weeks while i am off work i will be putting new software and modules into this site and building it up with what i hope to be a site that unlike our old one will not have issues with the gallery. Opposite Locks 2nd garage sale 11th oct

ok all as u may know the team at o/l are at it again with there next sale on sat the 11th of oct so drop in for some great deals

ok so a small group of keen guys and girls headed off on friday night to maytown as usually we met up at smithfield. there was dangerous dan, cruizer dan, oi dan patrol, exv8ter and jackaroo. we had planed to met jackaroo at the turn off as they were coming in from the cooktown side. we got to the turn and met up with jackaroo and headed in, in the dark it was a great run in with a little track building and road finding skills involved but before long we were at our camp site for the night. the next day lead us to maytown but not be for dangerous dan got hims self stuck in some light sand so after a little cruiser help we were on our way. it was about 1pm when we got to may town so we ad a little lunch and started to explore the site and have a little fun in between. the night bought some great cooking skills and drinking skills out. the next day was the big one 6hrs to do app 70km but well worth it with some great 4wding and scenery.
it is a must for any one want to do a good 4wd but bear in mind ts not the easiest track so be well prepared for the worst there is more on this track many photos of the weekend in the trip section

sat 12/4
so we met up at lake eacham at about 8am and headed of to tackle the old cairns track. we had about 8 trucks turn up for the day,
as we entered the first mud hole tod was up and after havin a few goes he had made it through with a lot of mud everywhere.
so then it was on for everyone else to make it through with no one taking the easy way out.
darrie had disappeared for a while so i went back to see where he was and he had ended up getting a little bogged have to winch out, with a little side rail damage and some home repairs he was off again.
things were going well till about lunch time when jay and keith had some problems with there patrols. jays fuel pump had shit it self so he was going no where fast and keith had picked up a log ripping out his break lines and fuel lines.
we got keiths patrol going with only front breaks and had to run a line to bypass the fuel pump to keep it running, that was the end for keith with im heading back to townsville. we then rang elmo to bring up a new fuel pump for jay, in doing so it was the wrong one so with some mods to it and a Toyota hose clamp we got it going again, time had got by and it was about 7pm before we were out,
on the way out we heard from tod who with a small crew had kept going were also in the shit with buddahs hilux breaking a cv and they were just finishing up with pulling it out.
so all in all it was a good day with a few people not so happy but still a good trip

so we meet as usual at maccas with great intent to do the seven hills loop.
upon getting to the turnoff to seven hills the first hill gave some grief to the stock er cars and having to find a way around ended up in crazy red being the first stuck as usual. then huz attempted a log climb only to find he had bent a lower control arm. after a quick fix we were off again. the next river crossing we came across found tod snicking his cruiser ute and the rest have to find a new way around. as usually the mighty hilux found it difficult in a steep decent but with the added weight on the side (3 people) he made it down still on his feet. at that point the group split with one team heading home and leaving benny, huz, and tod to venture on.
in total we ended up with 8 cars and was a good day out

Hello, Melissa here from NQ Crash & 4WD Spares.
I'm currently putting together a video for NQ Crash & 4WD Spares as an advertising tool for an expo the company is attending in Mt Isa in April.
I'm looking for any 4WD'ing footage shot by yourself (ie: you own the copyright) that you'd be willing to let us use in the video. We're not selling it or making a profit from it, its just a display tool basically. Something to have running in the background for people to watch as they pass the stand. Doesn't have to be long as i'll probably cut / edit alot of it and put it to some music.
I am happy to include names on the screen and/or blur out any numberplates or anything you may not want shown. I will be more than happy to provide you with a draft of the video before its all finalised.
If anyone has anything that may be of use please let me know either here or by email (meljar@internode.on.net). I need to have all videos in within the next 2 weeks (so by April 4th!). If thats an issue please let me know and we can try to arrange something.
All your help with this proeject is grealty appreaciatted.
